In this episode the Fly-Fishing Insider Podcast, Greg Speaks with Adam Hutchison. Adam is the marketing manager of RL Winston CO. and Long-time employee to this brand.
Greg and Adam talk about the history that has shaped Winston fly rod into what they are now, today. We talk about the early days with Winston once being based out of San Francisco and the reason for the brands move to Montana. Winston has had many owners and partners throughout its almost 100-year history and we learn about this in the episode.
We also cover the success Winston has had as the worlds best fly rods and how the technology used in theses rods is truly apart of why they hold the top spot. Adam tells Greg that Winston is always evolving and looking to be the best, as this has always been the brands mission.
Later in the show Greg asks Adam about the line up of rods and the specific use, we cover micro Spey rods and their purpose. Greg asks Adam if He thinks Micro Spey rods are here to stay or are just a fade, find out what he says.
