In this episode the Guided Podcast, Greg speaks with Brian Silvey, Brian is a Guide, two handed fly line tester, who is based in Oregon, USA.
Greg talks to Brian about the home waters of the Deschutes river where Brian Guides, and teaches his clients about the fish with in this river system. We also learn from Brian some of the main reasons why people fail to catch some steelhead in this river system.
Greg asks Brian about the current work in progress he is doing with SA in creating new fly lines for the two-handed rods and more so in the Skagit style of two-handed casting. Brian talks about then tapers, and why theses new lines are going to be a better benefit to those anglers seeking to use this line. Brian tells Greg about the work Brian has done with Winston fly rods more so with the new micro Spey and Spey TH.
